At the interview we will make you a provisional offer of a place, if we can, and usually attach conditions (such as five grade A* - C GCSE passes or subject specific requirements)
Please ensure you:
Bring your invitation letter with you
Plan enough time for your journey (see our location maps here). You don’t need to phone us if you are going to be slightly delayed, but we are likely to have to rearrange your interview if the time extends to an hour or more.
Phone or email to inform us as soon as possible, if you are unable to attend your interview – contact details will be provided in your invitation letter (and are the same as those at the bottom of this page).
Bring any items with you that are requested in your invitation letter.
In July we will write to you with a date and time for enrolment, which starts in August. You will need to bring your exam results slips.
If you still have some questions, please see our FAQ links below. If you still can’t find an answer, feel free to contact our Admissions & Advice Department on 020 89811231 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
In total you will be here for approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of applicants attending your session
If you are going to be no longer than half an hour later than your appointment time, there is no need to call us, just get here as fast as you can. If you are later than this, it is best to email us and we will rearrange your appointment.
We will try to see you for an interview within 8 weeks of the closing date (this is subject to change, depending on the time of year).
You are then led to an area to await your interview, have a talk about your study programme and predicted grades and receive your provisional offer certificate. You can ask us any question you have about our courses, enrichment, atmosphere – anything – during this exchange.
You will be instructed individually, in your interview invitation letter, as to anything you are required to bring with you. But please ensure you bring your invitation letter and proof of ID!
The most important thing is to inform us. Contact the department by phone or email as far in advance as possible - and preferably not on the day of interview if you can - and we will arrange another interview date for you.
If you miss appointments and we are not informed, this may result in your application being withdrawn.
Parents/ Guardians are welcome to attend the interview with you but this is not mandatory.
